The Viking Store and Cooking School, located in the Factory at Franklin, is a culinary playground for guests of all skill levels. Beyond our gourmet retail store and award-winning designer showroom, our two state-of-the-art Viking kitchens are equipped to accommodate events of all kinds. Consider intimate cooking classes among friends, corporate team building activities, networking receptions, birthday and holiday parties, wine tastings, bridal showers, facility rentals – you name it! The possibilities are truly endless.

We’ll cater each and every detail to meet your specifications. Our events can be interactive hands-on activities where each person prepares the dishes on the menu, or more relaxing demonstrations where you watch the chefs prepare the meal. Or, consider a combination of both.

At Viking, our knowledgeable staff of professional chefs will take you on a culinary adventure you’ll never forget. We’ll make it easy on you – you create the guest list and we’ll handle the rest!

Our Space

Between our hands-on kitchen, demonstration theater, outdoor grilling patio and retail floor, we can accommodate groups of between six and one hundred. Our trend-setting facility is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine with friends or finely tune your culinary skills.

Corporate Clients

• Team-Building – Don an apron, break into teams, and get your hands dirty working together to cook a gourmet meal. Groups can be predetermined or selected at random.
• Off-Site Meetings – Shake up your next training session or business meeting with a visit to Viking. Our demonstration theater seats 46 comfortably and offers a laptop hookup to TV monitors. End the session with a cooking class and lunch/dinner.
• Client Appreciation – Thank your clients for their business, or network with prospects during an out-of-the-box activity.
• Networking Receptions – Mix, mingle, sip, sample, shop and learn! We’ll set up several cooking, tasting and sipping stations around the entire store. This type of event is perfect for large groups.
• Competitive Cooking – Go head-to-head with your friends or colleagues in a battle of culinary wits! Working from a mystery baskets of ingredients, your team will work with a chef to prepare a gourmet meal. A panel of judges will choose the winner.
• Facility Rental – Our innovative event space can be rented by the hour or the day. Additionally, we can do the food shopping, set up, clean up and more.

Social Events

• Dinner with Friends – Our events are comparable in cost to a restaurant meal but, because you get to participate, they’re so much more fun.
• Family Reunion – Plan some stress-free family bonding by working together to plan a meal. The best part? No clean up!
• Showers/Engagement Parties – We’ll help you plan an event built to teach the bride-to-be to cook, or celebrate the newly weds with a cocktail party cooking class.
• Birthdays (all ages!) – From kids’ cookie decorating workshops to adult wine and cheese tastings, our birthday celebrations are always special.

Guest Chef Program

• We also host restaurateurs, cookbook authors, TV personalities, local growers or other experts for custom cooking programs. This is a great opportunity to promote your business in a new way.

Event Add-Ons

• Culinary Retail Store: You and your guests will receive 10% off items from our gourmet retail store for booking a private event with us.
• Goodie Bags: Thank your guests for coming with a wrapped gift from our retail store at each place setting when they arrive. Think aprons, menu-appropriate assorted cooking tools, bakeware or specialty food items.

Planning Your Event

• Call the store to be connected with one of our private event professionals. We’ll discuss your goals for the event, number of guests, format and menu.
